# CSV import and bulk creation

CSV import/export and bulk signature creation are Business plan capabilities.

## Availability

| Feature                 | Free         | Pro          | Business |
| ----------------------- | ------------ | ------------ | -------- |
| CSV import/export       | Not included | Not included | Included |
| Bulk signature creation | Not included | Not included | Included |

## What Bulk Creation Is For

Use bulk creation when you need to create many employee signatures from structured data instead of entering each person manually.

Typical CSV columns include:

* Full name
* Email
* Job title
* Department
* Phone
* Website
* Company name
* Social links
* Profile photo URL
* Logo URL
* Banner URL

## Recommended Preparation

1. Create departments first.
2. Decide the template or saved brand style that the imported signatures should use.
3. Clean the CSV so each row represents one employee.
4. Use public HTTPS URLs for photos, logos, and banners.
5. Test with a small sample before importing the full team.

## Current Product Note

The current app metadata and pricing comparison list CSV import/export and bulk creation as Business features. If the CSV import screen is not visible in your workspace, treat the feature as account-enabled or rollout-dependent and contact support before promising a CSV workflow to a customer.

## Manual Alternative

Until CSV import is available in the visible UI:

1. Create one polished signature.
2. Duplicate it from **Signatures**.
3. Edit the duplicate for each employee.
4. Use departments and saved styles to keep the rollout consistent.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.subscripta.app/account-and-billing/csv-import-and-bulk-creation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
